I also have been researching and Alamo Defender, I called the DART Library located across from the Alamo and they sent me everything on my defender. The cost is minimal unless the files contain alot of information. It only costed me $7.00 to obtain the information. In addition, you may find that the files contain family group sheets, letters ect.
