This family originated in Marlboro/Marion Co., SC. I would think that Thomas was probably born in SC--then the family migrated to GA--Meriwether Co., for the grandparents, Ben Bridges Sr. and Rebecca Stubbs, and children; We think Ben Jr. and wife Mary Henagan Bridges were probably in Hall Co. The migration to Arkansas took a couple of years. They stopped in Alabama and Mississippi, then crossed at Memphis. If you do a google search for Eliza Hightower Bridges Marguth, you can probably come up with several postings of mine on this family. I was provided with Thomas' name, and 3 siblings, only recently. I had been searching for years for these 4 Bridges children!
