Thomas Willoughby Waters - S. C. - Mexican War????
My ancestor Thomas Willoughby Waters of Spartanburg Co. SC is referred to as Col. T. W. Waters is at least two sources. He was too yong for the War of 1812 and died before the Civil War.Mexican War is a possibility for his service.Does anyone have a roster showing service by him?He lived in SC all his life (although he had bought a plantation is GA shortly before his death (1854) in preparation for a move which never happened). Thus, any service would have been in a SC regiment.
