My late husband, William "M." Weathersby, Jr. finished boot camp at Pendleton on/about Nov. 13, 1943. Have official photo of this group and would like to identify as many as possible. Names at bottom of picture are: PFC W. J. Pace, CORP. E. E. Perry and PFC A. B. Watson. He was then assigned to 1st F.A. Bty. at Pendleton, & Jan. 12, 1944 to Camp Elliott, 41st Replacement Bn., TC, and on Jan. 24 embarked on SS President Tyler & eventually disembarked at Guadacanal 20 Feb. 1944, in HAAG, 12th AA June 1944, and from there to Peleliu. Does anyone have this same picture, know of any names, details of this group? Thanks for your help.
