EXPORTING FAMILYTREE FILE TO PORTABLE HARD DRIVE OR FLASH DRIVE

I have Version 10 of Familytreemaker and use XP. I am having some problems with my computer and want to be sure to have my file on another device. How do I save/export file to a hard drive or flash drive? I have over 2500 names in my file but looking up the file, it lists the size as 16MB. Would that be correct? I need some help with this. I have always saved file to a CD but my CD burner is broken.
