FTM 2014 Display Settings
Posted by: Cheryl Schulte (ID *****8248) Date: February 14, 2014 at 18:01:34

Just upgraded to FTM 2014 and immediately noticed issues with the display. Called Ancestry, they sent me instructions to use to adjust and it called for reducing my computer's display settings to the default of 100%. Fine, FTM looks good BUT all my other programs on the computer are so tiny that it makes it near impossible to function. Even FTM's display is smaller than what would be ideal. I am not blind by any means but this is small. If this is the only way to have FTM work correctly and display properly then I am very disappointed. I have used FTM for years and years but to squint and struggle to read things on my computer seems unnatural. Are there work-arounds for this or am I understanding Ancestry's instructions incorrectly? I am using Windows 7 with a 23" monitor. Thanks.
