Hi Tom:

You can't sync your ancestry file to more than one computer.

Although I haven't tried it, you are supposed to ba able to sync a file on one computer to your ancestry file; while that file on the computer is tied to another computer's file via Dropbox. I have not used this tecnique, but have read posts of others who have done that.

Failing some sort of technique like this, you have to use your laptop to reach your ancestry file and make entries to your ancestry file from the laptop, which will sync back to your computer.
