I use Family Tree maker 2011 and have the same question.
I cannot find "marriage status" to change the "married"
situation.
When I print out a genealogy report, it automatically says "married in" even though I have put "not married" in the "place of marriage".
Please be specific on how I get rid of the "married in" wording in the genealogy report, or how I show the couple as "not married"
