An un-named USCG Cutter was reported damaged that date in St. Lucia by mines laid by the german submarine U-66. She had laid the mines on the 20th from 0048-0109 hours, consisting of 1 CGC, 2 MRB and 3 TMB mines. Also on 2 August, two Royal Navy MTB's (torpedo boats), MTB 339 and 342 were damaged by mine detonations at the same location.
