PLEASE REMEMBER TO THANK A VETERAN TODAY, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS
Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing on behalf of my children, Lane (14), his friend,
Janice (13) and my younger son Adam (10), they have formed a non-profit
organization to support our troops. Their name is Operation: Teens For Our
Troops, Inc., their mission is:

To: Promote Social Welfare
To: Promote Patriotism
Their Purpose:
a)To inspire and recruit more teens to
support our troops, our President and his Administration along with our
government.
b)To boost the moral of our Armed Forces here and abroad.
c)To show our gratitude and appreciation for our Freedom and Liberty to our Armed Forces.
d)To instill pride of country in our generation.
e)To become Teen Leaders and role models in our community.
f)To be blessed to be able to give back to our community.
g)To learn and educate ourselves about our country and government.
h)To learn and educate others and ourselves in
becoming our great country's future leaders.
i)Last but not least, to show love, support and appreciation to our Dad, 1LT Michael A. Scott, HHC 53rd Support Battalion, Florida Army National Guard.

They recently presented former POW
David S. Williams with a cert. of appreciation and a t-shirt on our local
newsradio 540wfla. They also held their first fundraiser, which lasted 13
hours and they collected enough money to purchase enough items for 24
complete care packages. They have devoted their allowences, their free time
and now their summer vacation to this project. Their website is coming soon
so the soldiers all over the world can see their suppport,
www.operationteensforourtroops.us. I recently had to stop working my full time job to be able to devote my time to this mission, we have logged over 400 service hours doing volunteer work centered around taking care of our soldiers and their families in the central Fla area. We are just now needing to reach out to the community so that we can continue hosting Festival Fun Days (field days) for children of military personnel among many other activities, so for our first fundraiser, Zellwood Station Golf Club is hosting a Golf Tournament on our behalf, it will be on Saturday, August 30, at 8:30am, 4-man scramble, we are in need of golfers, also hole sponsors, the cost per golfer is $50.00 and anyone can sponsor a hole for $100.00, we will have a professional sign made for each sponsor on the designated hole. I am such a proud mom and military wife,
I just thought you may find this interesting. Thank you for your time and
consideration, God Bless, Diana Scott

We have received recognition from the USAF in the pentagon, from
USA Freedom Corp in the Whitehouse, from the Congress of Fraternal
Orders, they have received their Presidential Student Service Awards and were presented awards at an awards ceremony from the State of FL VFW and they
will be receiving certificates of commendation from Commander Ron Conley
of the American Legion, also have received a letters of support from the Governor of Florida, Congressman Ric Keller, Senator John McCain, the Commissioner of Education, The Youth and Community Services
Director.
