Melissa,
I sent you an e-mail yesterday and perhaps my message to you never reached your mailbox.Maybe our respective computers don't accept each other's addresses-I don't understand why not. I'm surprised that you can't get my e-mail address to go through...here it is again-
[email protected]
You can also try [email protected]
That's my boyfriend's e-mail (a green bay packer fan, no doubt) but I also check that address as well so see what happens when you try again.
My father's name is Ralph Brodsky-he changed his name while in the army.He was originally from Lipno Poland and had the last name Kosobudtski (Rueven) when he first came to this country. He was inducted in the army at Fort Sheridan, IL in Sept. 1942.Therefore he probably was not in the 1942 "class" picture because he did his basic training in Arkansas and then was sent to Camp Carson in late 1942 and part of 1943.From Camp Carson his outfit headed for the East Coast where they were shipped out to Scotland.
If you'd like to check your picture again for either of those names that would be great-or better yet if you have any pictures from 1943 I'm sure he'd be in those. If you can't get through to me please post another message for me on the army website and I'll check there.
Thanks
Barbara Brodsky
