Also try the NARA www.archives.gov for service records, they had a fire in 1973 that burned 80% of Army/Air Corps records from abt 1900 to early 1960's. Your uncles might be in the 20% that survived.

He looks to be born July 12, 1912 nad died Jan 1957 according to SSDI (Social Security Death Index)

Is age 17 in 1930 census and 7 in 1920 living in Salem, Essex Co. MA with parents.
