Looking for info & contacts with all the branches in the Family of the Assistant Engineer and Gunner
S/Sgt S.A. ( io ) FREEZE
s.n. 18217916 , who lost his life - 19 December 1943 - on the Bomber B-24D serial 42-40402 “The Sandman” , the plane veteran from Ploesti Low Level mission 1st August 1943.
I discovered the wreck some years ago in the Dolomiti Mountains area , in Alta Badia Valley, Suedtirol , Bolzano Province , Italy.

Birth 1924 , he had his Mother Mrs. Bertie M. Freeze living at Route 1 , Jean ,Texas in 1944.
He was buried at the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery , Nicholasville , Kentucky in a common grave with other 6 Crewmembers. Sector E , Site 224.
Also touches with old Friends and Comrades are obviously interesting.

I hope in fast meetings for exchange of info and pictures , better via e-mail correspondence.

Any help would be appreciated...Thanks.
