I am looking for any living relatives and friends of USAAF S/Sgt. FRANCIS LENARD VAN HEYNINGEN
S/N 10675380 , who was gunner in the famous B-24D The Sandman serial # 42-40402 lost on the Raid of Augsburg , Germany .
His Mother Mrs. Nina Van Heyninger lived at 3730 Garland Ave , Detroit , Michigan in 1944.
Francis Van Heyningen dead 12/19/1943, Gunner S/Sgt. 98th Bomb Group 345th Bomb Squadron. Dob 1923 , Plot: H 85 , buried 12/08/1949, @ Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California.

I will appreciate any leads.
