* Sorry for eventual errors.
I am ready to guide in a short walk to visit the crash place and in another trip to visit also the ground of the crash of the German fighter in duel in the hard combat .
Rare witnesses are always interested to tell to American visitors the event and some little pieces of the wreck are still in the wood .
I await a kind contact to exchange info, pictures , documents saving the memory of the Soldiers protagonist of the episode and the sacrifice of the 3 Sgt. KIA.
The Cemetery where were the American tombs until September 1945 is cared by a sensible Parish Priest : Johann Oberhammer.
The location is a very touristic , nice series of villages where I run since the year 2000.

This search is presented also by pictures in 2 different posts in armyairforces.com . Links :

I hope in the arrival in Italy of Relatives interested to meet me like happened many times in these years. Better seasons : Spring and Summer. But Autumn is good too.
Every help or touch from Mates and Friends of the Families will be appreciated . Thanks.
