Ancestry does not have a Anthony oy Tony Comiskey (as you spell it), in any of thier military databases. If he was in WWII then he should have been born before 1930 census.

try www.archives.gov look at Veterans records and ADD databases: http://aad.archives.gov/aad/ click on WWII
there is a George A. Comiskey listed as a prisoner of war. So you may know him as Anthony but his birth name may be George Anthony Comiskey. If name of prisoner record is George then his enlistment will be under this name too.
If he had a birth certificate it would be on file in the county he was born in. There is none in military records.
