Hello,
I lost my father in April and hope to re-connect to friends from this line, and learn more about him and his branch of the family. He had many that he served with.
Hamilton King Avery II, Lieutenant Colonel, USAF, Retired
Died today 10 April 2008 at 4:45 PM. He was 91.
Born 22 February 1917 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was a descendant of the Groton Avery Clan, and the Daigle sugar plantation owners of Louisiana .
He was the son of the late Hamilton King Avery I of Memphis, TN and Alice Josephine Daigle of New Orleans, LA.
Husband of the late Hilda Gause Avery of SC.
