As he was not lost without the US Borders-he would not be listed either rhe East or West Coast Memorials (US).
HOwever:
*Try to trace when Student Pilot units were at Marana in 1943.
*See if there is a Veterans ssociation for such Units.
*As he was training at a Western state-there is a slight possibly that he was a Western resident himself-try sending a letter of Inquiry to the State Adjustant Generals office of Western States such as California or Texas giving details and inqure if such a person was from that particular state.
*Having determined his hometown, write a letter to local Historian/Newspaper about said person.
