Well! I have had no response from that email you offered.

I have spoken with the minister of the Uruguayan consulate in London and he was very friendly and is trying to help. He told me I need someone over there to obtain it for me as they have to show ID (at the registry presumably).

I am trying to contact an uncle I have there. I have his name and last known address. I have tried to use www.volt.com.uy, but I don't know if it has changed or I am doing something wrong, as the site seems to be for classifieds, or business numbers. Even entering something as common as Martinez only brought up 5 entries.

Does anyone know of another telephone directory?
