I am related by marriage to two Urso women.
1) My great uncle, Charlie Campise married Mary Urso in Caldwell TX abt 1819. She was born in LA 08-31-1901 and died 10-1969. Children were Paul born 1926 and Phillip born 1932.
2)My grandmother's step mother was Giuseppina "Josephine" Urso. She was also born in LA.She was born 3/10/1903. She lives in Cleveland,TX with her daughter,Frances Maglitto Ruffino. She married brothers. She married Sam Maglitto 4/1925. He died in 1928 and she married his brother, Joe Maglitto in the 1930's or 1940's. He has also died.
The Maglitto family originated in Lentini, near Catania, though in Siracusa province of Sicily.
The Campisi family originated in Poggioreale , Trapani province in western Sicily.
