My Great-grandfather (X9) arrived from
Guipuzcoa prov. Spain in or about 1687.
He setteled in Texas on July 23, 1733 when
he was named Captain of the presidio de
San Antonio de Bexar. Today this city is
called San Antonio, Texas. This family
descendents still live in Texas with family branches in Coahulia, Nuevo Leon,Tamaulipas, Mexico.
You will also find this early Urrutia/Camacho
Botello/Ramon/Flores de Valdez surnames in early New Spain's history.
