Hi Jack/Nancy,

Thanks for your reply.

I heard from someone else that the sennachie has been ill, so it appears that he has been unable to attend to the site.

I had sent in an application to join the Urquhart clan Association and directed it to the contact/address on the clan chief's web site. This included a bank draft for the fee. I've been trying to determine why I never heard back.

A person I contacted recently in Australia said that the Association was still operating and was going to try and find an alternate contact - I'm still waiting to hear back.

People should attempt to obtain a response from the site's posted contact before sending any funds etc. My feeling is that if the owners are unable to respond or manage the site, the portions that deal with membership should be dismantled (at least temporarily) so that newcomers don't end up parting with their money needlessly.
