i am researching my Urquhart family and any info on them any one has would be appreciated.
My earliest Ancestor was Alexander Urquhart born about 1785 spouse Jean Dickie.
Their son Charles born Fraserburgh 1809 married to Elspet Smith 10 Dec 1829 Old Deer and Strichan.
They had 13 children all born Old Deer, Ellon,
Charles and Elspet lived on a croft at Aikey Brea Old Deer, and are buried together at Old Deer stone n/o 127 July 2nd 1891.
Some of their descendants did emigrate.
Any info on Alexander and Jean would be really something as i can't find out anything about them!
