There is a Janet (Urquhart) Anderson that died Feb. 19, 1914 at 87 years and 9 months of age, in Campbellford, Division of Seymour, Northumberland. She was a widow, and was born in Scotland. The informant was George Anderson Jr. of Campbellford.

There is a marriage for John Anderson, 34, living in Seymour, born Fortrose, Scotland, bachelor, farmer, son of John Anderson and Jessie Urquhart, and Mary Fry, 23m living in Seymour, born in Seymour, daughter of George and June Fry, on Dec. 30, 1891 in Seymour. (Fortrose is on the Black Isle in Ross & Cromatry).

John Anderson Sr. died Aug. 26, 1907 in Seymour at 77 years of age, born Scotland, farmer.
John Jr. died May 17, 1910 in Seymour.

Here is a great Scotland website for researching. It is a pay-per-view website, but inexpensive. You can look at images of vital records from 1855 to the present.

I have a Janet Urquhart in my tree on that was baptized on Nov. 20, 1826 in Inverness, Inverness County, Scotland to parents William Urquhart and Ann McLeod. Inverness is about 8 miles from Fortrose, as the crow flys.
