With the help of a fellow researcher, Cathy, who has a trial subscription to pay-per-view Ancestry.ca, the following Ontario vital records were found. Unfortunately, a marriage between Donald and Elizabeth Jane was not found.

Edith Margaret Mcgolpin, born 3 Aug 1896, female, York, parents: William John McGolpin, Susan Wilson.
Jennie Mcgolpin, born 15 Jun 1900, female, York, parents: William John McGolpin, Susan.
Ruth Mcgolpin, born 3 Aug 1896, female, York, parents: William John McGolpin, Susan Wilson.
Sarah Mcgolpin, born 22 Jul 1892, female, York, parents: William John McGolpin, Susan Wilson.
William Carr Mcgolpin, born 4 Jul 1887, male, York, parents: James Andrew McGolpin, Annie Victoria Bowron.
I can not find the families of Donald Urquhart, William John McGolpin and James Andrew McGolpin in the 1901 census. I don't think they were missed, but possibly their names were misspelled by the enumerator, or not correctly transcribed by the website folks.

There are 74 Urquhart deaths in York County. Only one Donald, died 1913, which couldn't be your Donald since he was the informant in 1925 on his wife's death.
