Valerie, I was working on some Gairloch Urquhart research awhile ago to disprove some incorrect information another researcher had posted. I did not run across your Donald Urquhart and Margaret Urquhart. I would have to think that Catherine moved from Gairloch to Harris with her parents, given her age when she married in 1840. So, another look at the 1841 Harris census should produce Donald and Margaret, as well as Catherine and John. You could continue to check with the census in 1851, 1861, etc., until Donald and Margaret no longer appear. These census can be ordered at your local LDS church genealogy library, from the main library in Salt Lake City, to read. I have ordered the Gairloch baptism and marriage records (1781-1854) on microfilm in the past. They would probably contain Donald and Margarets marriage, and Catherines baptism records. When you have an idea of Donald and Margarets year of death, you should go to Scotlands People website to obtain their death certificates. They have the civil registration records starting in 1855. Those certificates would give their parents names, and you would be another generation back. Scotlands People also has the census records from 1861-1901. Craig
