Norman Urquhart and Ship Baliol

In another lifetime, as Carolyn Boone, I published an article that I had researched years earlier, stating that The Urquharts sailed from Scotland on the Baliol. As I have learned since, improper notes of sources will come back to haunt you, and this did. I implore all of you to take careful notes about sources and always, always find your own documentation of anything you come across on the internet and those cds and even, LDS. Much info is published without consent or documentation. My Urquhart info was researched and shared by Cousin Bill Wilson and myself over many, many years. In case I never said it, Thanks cuz!

"Norman Urquhart sailed 1774 on Ship BALIOL with the McLeods and the Bethunes. The companion ship was the NESTOR. They arrived in Wilmington, North Carolina. According to SHIPS FROM SCOTLAND TO AMERICA, page 13, the "BALIOL, from Campbelltown to North Carolina with passengers, arrived 8. 1774, Wilmington, North Carolina. This information was also published in the SOUTHERN GENEALOGIST 29.1.5/SG.37.1.14. " From Urquhart database owned by CSF.
