Dave, this is what I found for the will. Do you have a copy of will? Is this Mary Frey granddaughter or daughter? It it be a misprint? Or could Mary have a daughter named Mary? . On a disc from the
library. Family Tree Makers subject Family History, Genealogies of Long
Island Families.------Urquhart, John of Oyster Bay 12 DEC 1716 (not to sure
on the dates given..dont quite add up) f/20 to my granddaughter Mary Fry when
she is of age to receive it; if she dies before coming of age, her share to
Margaret Wright. Residue to my daughter Margaret Wright. Exrs; son-in-law
Gideon Wright and daughter Margaret Wright. Wits George Townsend, William
Moles and James Townsend. PRO. 20 March 1716.-----I believe John must of died
before 1722 because of the following.----Gideon Wright of Oyster Bar, Yoeman,
15 May 1722. Lands and rights in the old purchase to sons John, Zebulon and
Elijah as they come of age. Daughters, Elizabeth and Mary to dwell in the
homestead and be maintained. Sons to pay f/20 to Mary Frey left by her
grandfather John Urquhart that I shall owe her when she comes of age.
Overseers: my brethren John Wright, Charles Ludlam, and Robert Feke and
friends James Dickinson and my son John. Witnesses Richard Townsend, Peter
Underhill and John Chester. PRO. 28 Aug. 1722----this also from the same
Family Tree Maker CD.---Thanks Pam
