Herbert 1/12/1879 arrived in Port Chalmers, New Zealand on the Philip Laing, 459 tons, sailed from Greenock on 23/11/1847, and Milford Haven on 20/12/1847, and arrived on 15/4/1848. Their daughter Mary Stark Ure married my Greatgrandfather Donald Sinclair Senior 22 March 1878. Donald Sinclair from Calderbank near Glasgow arrived into Port Chalmers on the Peter Denny 1873.
