This is wonderful news! Thank you so much - you don't know HOW long I have been searching for Hosea's people! I always had a hunch that he (and therefore, we) were descended from William but could never find the link, until now! I have census data for 3 marriages of Hosea, in addition to Rhoda: Sephronia in 1850, Ruth in 1860, 1870, and 1880, and Charity in 1900 and 1910. Unfortunately, no maiden names. I think my branch of Ure's is from Ruth. Hosea had 9 children that I am aware of - the break between Darius (b. 1848) and Charles (next child, b. 1853) sort of indicates to me that Darius was the only one born of Rhoda, but I don't know.

After Charles, there was Rhoda (b. 1855), Leon (b. 1856), Frank (b. 1859), Mary (b. 1863), William (b. 1868), Nellie (b. 1869), and Hosiah/Hosea J. (b. 1871). Other than the fact that both Hosea Sr. and Frank were itinerant Methodist preachers who traveled a lot (Hosea was in 5 different places in 6 different censuses, all different from his birthplace), I don't really have a lot. Thank you again for sharing your info with me - I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!
