I have just started to trace back my family in Scotland. My great grandmother was Isabella Ure daughter of John Ure and Isabella Munnoch, born in 1856. She is not mentioned in the 1871 census along with all her brothers and sisters because at that time she was in Edinburgh employed as a domestic servant.
