I'm looking to connect with descendents of my maternal line which include Sarah (Sadie) Calhoun Upton whose husband was Frank H. They had a son Albert M. Upton who died in 1956, residence Piedmont, CA. He and his wife Margaret had a dau also named Margaret who married a Washburn. Albert also had a siser Frances who I believe married twice first to a Haney and second to a Glover. Frances moved the remains of her Calhoun grandfather, David T. Calhoun in 1985 from the Piedmont Chapel of the Chimes to an unknown locale. David's daughters were Sarah, named above, another Margaret who married John Poole, and my grandmother Victoria Adelaide Calhoun, who went by Addie. My grandmother used the married names Beese, and Haugens. It appears that Lawrence Frederick Beese changed his name to Haugens as both men share the same given names and birth date. I am the dau. of Laura Frances Haugens b Feb. 3, 1915. My mother had one brother, David Frederick Haugens, but he, his wife Gladys, and their two sons are all deceased. I would like to reconnect with my maternal family and find more of their history. I am a retired teacher and only want history from them.
