While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I'm not related to this person, but I thought I would post it in case it is helpful to someone.

UPTON - Mrs. Jennis S. Upton died yesterday, aged 76 years, at her home, 72 South Walker street. She is survived by two sons, Frank A. Upton of Jackson, Mich., and Austin R. Upton of New Haven, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. William Watson of Lowell and Mrs. Mary Bocus of Pottsdam, N.Y., and three brothers, Albert Brown of Pottsdam, N.Y., and Arthur and John Brown, both of Bedford, P.Q., and four grandchildren. The body was removed to the rooms of Undertaker Edward L. Bennett, 236 Westford street.
