On April 1 1812 Robert Upton received Surety from his to be father in law, McClelland Winton, to be able to marry the next day, Rhoda Winton. This was in Wayne Co Ky, and Minister John Phipps performed the ceremony.
Robert Upton, birthdate not known by me, was, by record, the "indicated" second son of Benjamin Upton? Said Benjamin Upton had been in the area at least by 1801.
By 1815/16 Robert Upton is no longer listed in records. Does anyone know what happened to him???
