Ritchie County, West Virginia Uptons
My grandfather, Okey Burns Upton, was born in West Virginia. He went to Corbin, Kentucky and married Miranda Bell Wilder and had eight children. The only thing we know about his family is that he had a sister named Nelia. Could this be one of the Ritchie County Upton families. Okey Burnes died in 1918 of Brights Disease. Only one of his children is still living.
