I think my William is not your William. My William was born in 1793 in NJ, went to Williamsport, PA, married Mary (Polly) Updegraff. There is an Updegraff genealogy, also the Updegraffs of Williamsport are noted in the History of Lycoming Co., which is where Williamsport is. William & Mary had 14 children, all in Williamsport, one of which is my direct ancestor, Albert. The Updegraff genealogy is "History of the Op Den Graef/Updegraff Family, by June (Shaull) Lutz, 1988. I have found what I believe to be one error in it, and only have the few pages which include my Mary, whose father was Thomas, wife was Elizabeth. There was a Sarah, according to the genealogy, but she married Antis Sechler. Sorry I can't help more.
