Hi: I don't believe I've run across your name before, but I haven't been able to do any genealogy since December 1999. However, I am descended from Abraham and Sarah Fields Updegraph, and I have worked with Edna Hogue's 1960s family tree of that branch and computerized it and have between 1000 and 2000 descendants, as well as his parents' names and some info. If you would like to swap info, I would love to. I'm Isaac>ABRAHAM>William>William Harry>Harry Vernon>Henry Paul>me (Nancy Dee Updegraph).
If you have independent info about Sarah Fields, I would like to hear it. But Edna Hogue in the 1960s got Sarah's name from my grandfather Harry Vernon. Other of his info turned out to be wrong, and a later census lists Abraham's wife as Catherine, so we're in a quandry to know if she was a second wife or if Sarah Fields was wrong all along. You say William born 5-8-1808 was born in Beaver Falls - I never had that, so would like to hear more. Do you know that William eventually moved to the Worth Township area near Portersville, PA (where I live) and his farm stayed in the family until the 1970s.
