Looking for confirmation of ancestry of Margaret Updegraff who married Robert Rodgers abt 1825 or so, probably in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Margaret is belived to be the daughter of Abner Updegraff and Jane Devine. (b. 1806?)
Robert Rodgers was a partner in the Firm of Howard & Rodgers, a copper and tin manufacturer in Pittsburgh.
Their daughter Olivia Rodgers married John Scott of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny Valley Railroads.
Any help with this branch of the Uptegraff/Updegraff family would be greatly appreciated.
