Roxanna Upson was the daughter of Uriah Upson and Maribah (Dyke) Upson. She was born on 24 April 1808 in Canisteo, NY and died there on 23 Aug 1890. She married on 24 February 1835 Carlton H. Stepehens. He was the son of Uriah F. and Hannah (Moore) Stepehens. The only child listed in the Upson Genealogies was Madelia Hannah Upson b. 26 Nov 1841 who married John Ira Bennett, the son of Laveryne and Carolyn (Snyder) Bennett. Uriah Upson was the son of Asa Upson of Pennsylvania. This Asa Upson has not been connected back to the larger Upson family tree.
