I believe it does. This Stephen is considered the immigrant ancestor. I believe he was from Suffolk County, England. The information I found was from 1638 and of course he was in America by that time. I was hoping someone could verify this. There is an Upson book available through Higginson Book Company and I have been thinking about buying one. It is $ 94.00. This book Co. can be accessed via the web. The Stephen you speak of had a son Thomas who lived in CT. There were Thomes Upsons listed in Suffolk that would have been Stephen's contemporaries. The CT Upson family had many Stephens and Thomases.
