The person you appear to be interested in is Sarah M. (Mary?) Upshaw. Her parents were born in VA and TN (possibly then part of KY). Her brother was George Roane Upshaw who married Delphia Catherine BLAIR in Stephenville, Erath Co., 11 Dec 1871. Delphia was born in Erath Co. TX, but the two died in Val Verde Co., TX.
Her parents were George Augustus Upshaw and Mary Ann Slagle (or Sleigher). George's brother Samuel was my own 2nd Gr. Grandfather.
