Looking for the family of a Mary Upshaw, WF Widow, age 65, in US 1880 Census Erath Co., TX. Her mother b. KY, father b. VA. Others listed: Monroe Dixon, MSW 25 AL, Laborer Hired Hand, father b. AL, mother b. AL; Saul Smith (my maternal gggrandfather) MWW 80 NC, father b. NC, mother b. NC.

I believe they lived in a house near to the house of my maternal ggrandfather Joseph Badger Smith and ggrandmother Melzora Blair Smith, as Saul Smith was Joseph Badger Smith's father, in Victor, Erath Co., TX at the time. I have other distant Upshaw relatives and am wondering just how Mary (maiden name unknown) Upshaw fits in.
