This may be the Edward King and Margaret Upp whose daughter Carrie B. King was bord 5 Oct 1867 (she d 8 Jun 1953).
Carrie married James Rowell Newton Maule, and they had three children:
Robert Lewis Maule, Dorothy Maule, and Echo Maule. In compiling the Maule genealogy I corresponded with Echo Maule Joerg but never met her. If you are filling in descendants I can help. I don't know anything more about Margaret Upp or Edward King.
