From Census records and marriage records, I have come to this point.

Marshall abt 1850
He married Emily Townley June 13 1858 in Allen County Indiana.
They had Melville Peter Upp Aug 7 1859
Fred abt 1865 (?? mother)
Ida abt 1866 (?? mother)
He then moved to Illinois when Melville (my great grandfather was between 1-10 yrs old.
He married Margaret Ann Clark Wolfs. She sometimes went by Margaret A Upp later on which has caused me to run across Margaret A Upp King at times.
I have been dormant for a while on this stuff but would be interested in getting info and starting up again.
