I don't know if I ever answered you on the Sliger/Uphold family that I am researching, so I will give you the info. I have and hope that I am not duplicating.
George Washington Sliger b:abt.1867 in WVa. D: unknown
married Mary Elizabeth Uphold b:abt.1882 Md. they had 8 sons and 1 daughter who died young. The son I am following in John Canada Sliger b:12-29-1894 Friendsville, Garrett, Md. He died 3-5-1980 in Catawba, West Virginia. He married
Sylvia May Costello, date unknown. Sylvia's parents were,
Elijah Costello & Mary Catherine Riser. Sylvia was born
8-24-1889 Marietta, Washington Co., Ohio and she died
3-25-1974 Catawba, West Virginia. She is buried in Catawba Cemetery. John Canada Sliger & Sylvia May Costello had 4 daughters, Mary Elizabeth b:1922 Catawba, West Virginia and died 1982 Catawba, West Virginia, Betty Lou b:1931 Marion Co., West Virginia and died 1967 Fairmont, West Virginia, buried Catawba Cemetery. 3rd & 4th dau. are still living.
