Charles, The Uphold's Date back to the year 1600 in England.They moved into Germany in the late 1600 or early 1700.Our ancester Joseph and his brother Mattius left for the United States arriving in 1739 at the port of Philadelphia. The German spelling of our name is Oubold.I am using my brothers computer. My address is 136 Hoyes Run Rd. Oakland Md 21550
