Hi Dorothy,
Would you please do a lookup for me in your book?
I'm seeking parent's names of Isabella UPHAM, born about 1614, possibly in England, married about 1640 in either England or MA William HOLDRED [William HOLDRIDGE was born about 1610 in England immigrated on ship "Elizabeth" in 1635, was a tanner, and among the first settlers of Ipswich, MA, and died about 1685 in Exeter, Rockingham, NH], and she was killed in Mast Swamp by Negro Jack who was hanged in Boston, MA, in 1690. Isabella's will was read 20 Feb. 1692-1693. She was the principal witness in a witchcraft case against John GODFREY in 1659.

Children born in either Haverhill or Salisbury, Essex Co., MA, were:
~Mehitable HOLDRED b. 14 April 1652 m. 25 Jan. 1668 Jonathan SMITH, and she died possibly in April 1678 [my ancestors].
~Sarah HOLDRED b. 1640,
~Mary HOLDRED b. 1641,
~John HOLDRED b. 1645,
~William HOLDRED b. 15 March 1647-1648,
~Sarah HOLDRED b. 26 Dec. 1650,
~Abigail HOLDRED b. 2 Nov. 1654,
~Mary HOLDRED b. 24 Dec. 1656,
~Samuel HOLDRED b. 6 Nov. 1659, and
~Rebecca HOLDRED b. 20 June 1643.

Many THANKS :-) for your help,
Jan
