As with all the Uphams... they lead back to the immigrant John ....but in the Upham book ..on page 160 there is an entry for Cyrus Upham, of Rome, PA, [son of Nathan Upham of Dudley, MA] b. 1810, d. after 1855 ...who married Betsy Thatcher, 10 April 1834. They had a daughter, Nancy, b.18 March 1836. She married James Adams and died in 1867.
Betsy Thatcher Upham died in 1837 ... and Cyrus remarried in Bradford Co., PA
No descendants or family are listed for Nancy Upham Adams.
The Uphams were not closely connected to the Standishes and other famous Pilgrims, but they may have married into those families, which do not appear in the Upham book... a little research into the collateral lines should find it.
