I have different sources and am trying to sort out William Opdyke or Updyke b ca 1815 d.1848 m Mary Lasher or Mary Elizabeth Brown and had Susan Amelia (1840)who married Leander Bartlett , Mary E. (1843) who married Ambrose Peacock(According to their son's death certificate) other sources name no spouse, and Helen(Elenora )(1848) who variously married Elmer Wand and Unknown Peacock.
I have concluded that the mother of Harvey Peacock was Ambrose and Mary Updyke Peacock based upon the death certificate and the rememberance of Harvey's daughter-in-law about how the name was spelled.
Harvey Peacock had siblings and family lore recalls a step-mother
