I do not know who Aseneth's parents were, but one possibility is Gilbert Updike and Leany Updike.

They lived in Tompkins Co., NY until about 1837 when they moved to Michigan. Few of their children have been proved. There is a daughter listed in the 1820, 1825 and 1830 census whom I have not been able to discover who was born between 1810 - 1815.

One of the sons of John Stout and Aseneth Updike was named Gilbert, named after Aseneth's presumed father. They don't appear to have had a daughter named after her presumed mohter, Leany (Magdalena).

I hope this helps.
